It’s that time again when students are starting to apply for colleges and universities, or getting ready to start a new term. Either way, it’s going to put a dent in someone’s pocket book. But we have a solution – again this year NW Priority Credit Union is awarding six $500 Student Scholarships to future and current college students who are members of the Credit Union. Students will be judged based on written essay, academic achievement, extra-curricular activities, financial need, and community service.

In order to be eligible you must be a primary member of the Credit Union for at least a year, a graduating senior or a current college student with a GPA of 2.5 or higher who will enroll in an undergraduate course of study during the 2009-2010 school year at an accredited two-year or four-year college, university, vocational-technical school in the U.S. All applications must be submitted by March 2, 2009. The Credit Union Board of Directors is comprised solely of volunteers from the membership of the Credit Union. As a NW Priority Credit Union Board of Director, you’ll meet at least once per month to help set the overall course of the Credit Union. This is a great opportunity to become involved and make a difference at your Credit Union!
