Lenny the Lion Children’s Savers Club

This special club is for children 12 and under.  With a small deposit of $5 you can become a member of Lenny’s Club.  You will get a chance to participate in all of our fun events: The Lenny the Lion Easter Egg Hunt, Youth Week, Halloween Dress-up week at the Credit Union, and attend our Santa Party where you will get your picture taken with Santa.  For those children in school, they can earn money for top grades with Earn While You Learn.  Plus, your child will receive a birthday card from Lenny!

InvesTeen Accounts

The InvesTeen savings, checking and lending products are great ways to help teens grow into financial maturity.
InvesTeen products are hassle-free, offer great rates, and give teens the responsibility and independence they need.  These accounts also help teens build a solid foundation for their future whatever direction it may take them.

  • Savings

The minimum balance is $5, which is your membership share.  Dividends are calculated daily and paid monthly.

  • Money Market

You may earn a higher dividend rate when you maintain a balance of $5,000 in your regular savings account.  Dividends are calculated daily and paid monthly.

  • Christmas Club

Save for Christmas expenses with this special higher yield account.  There is a $10 early withdrawal fee as an incentive to save.  The funds are transferred to your savings account on November 1st in time for Christmas shopping.  Maximum deposit per year is $7,000.

  • Checking

No minimum balance is required and there are no monthly fees.  Your first book of checks are free and we do not charge any per check fee.

  • Debit Card/ATM Overdraft Protection/
    Line of Credit

With a qualified co-applicant* you can have 24-hour access to thousands of ATM locations.  When you use an ATM you can withdraw cash from your savings or checking account.  Your Debit Card is accepted wherever VISA is accepted.  When you use your Debit Card the fund are debited from your checking account.

  • VISA Credit Card

Features a low rate, no annual fee, no cash advance fee, a 25-day grace period on purchases and if your financial situation changes we will not raise your rate.  Limits up to $500 for members 16 years and older with a qualified co-applicant.

  • Loans

With a qualified co-applicant* you may borrow:
13-14 years old:  up to $500
15 years old:  up to $1,000
16-19 years old: unlimited

Earn While You Learn
If you haven't already heard, our "Earn While You Learn" program is designed to inspire and reward our young members. For every "A" (or highest grade possible in a subject) a student receives on his or her end-of-the-year report card, they will receive $1 deposited into their account. It's simply another great benefit of being a member of NW Priority Credit Union!

Here's how it works:

  • To qualify, they must be the primary member of the NWPCU
  • Enrolled in Kindergarten through 12th grade.
  • Qualifying subjects include Language Arts, Health, Math, English (Reading), Science and Social Studies.
  • Photocopy the student's end-of-the-year report card
  • Parent or guardian must complete the "Earn While You Learn" form which is available at all branches and online in May of 2017.
  • Send in the Earn While You Learn form to NWPCU, via email, mail or by dropping it off.
  • The deposit will be posted to the student’s account each August.

NWPCU Scholarships

NW Priority Credit Union has been awarding Student Scholarship for over 12 years. Each year we award four - $1,000 Student Scholarships to future and current college students who are members of the Credit Union. Students will be judged based on written essay, academic achievement, extra-curricular activities, financial need, and community service.

In order to be eligible:

  • You must be a primary member in good standing* of NW Priority Credit Union for at least ONE year.
  • Be a graduating senior or a current college student with a GPA of 2.5 or higher who will enroll in an undergraduate course of study during the 2018-2019 school year at an accredited two-year or four-year college, university, vocational-technical school in the U.S. Requirements
  • Complete NW Priority Credit Union Student Scholarship Application.
  • Write an essay of at least 500 words or more, TYPED and Double Spaced on a topic you will find in your application packet
  • Recipients will be notified the first week in March.
  • You must be available to attend NW Priority Credit Union’s Annual Meeting. Where we will present the winner
