Julie’s career at NWPCU began in the Accounting Department in 1987. She was promoted to VP of Finance and then CFO in 2004. She attended CUNA Financial Management School and has continued her credit union education throughout her tenure. Julie is dedicated to the true credit union philosophy.
During the past 18 months, Julie headed up the conversion process for a new computer system. The system is designed to enable many more years of growth for the credit union and continued convenience for our membership.
She has been very gracious during the COVID-19 disruption in remaining CFO and providing support wherever needed; including obtaining Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to keep our staff and members safe. This is just one example of her dedication to the credit union.
During her years at NW Priority Credit Union, Julie has proven herself to be an integral part of the management team. She has mentored and supported the employees, encouraging their professional goals.
“I am honored that our Board has given me the opportunity to continue NWPCU’s philosophy and values. It is a bittersweet moment, as I have worked with Mark for 33 years and we will all miss him a great deal.
I am excited to continue the strong tradition of this Credit Union, moving forward into the future working with such a committed Board of Directors and an outstanding team who are dedicated to serving our membership.”
Marie Mullins, Chairperson of The Board of Directors, said: “We appreciate Julie’s efforts in remaining focused as the CFO while working along with Mark to have a seamless transition in September. We look forward to the next chapter of NWPCU going forward as she accepts her new duties.”
