Community is an important part of who we are.

NW Priority Credit Union is more than just a place for savings and loans; we are a place for community and support. It’s why we donate to help nonprofits and fund scholarships in the regions where we do business. Last year alone, we gave $4,900 to charities and $4,000 to scholarships.

Supporting MDA Muscular Dystrophy Association

$4,900 is a great amount! Can I get details on how this was raised? I know in previous years it was a friendly competition, which was written about in this CU Times article (Friendly Competition Raises $11,028 for MDA).

Celebrating Local Communities

The Division Midway Alliance Festival of Nations was back in 2022 after two years of hiatus due to the pandemic. We were proud to donate $250.00 to this local festival that embraces the diversity of the Division Midway district while experiencing the best of East Portland’s multicultural community and businesses.

Supporting Our Postal Workers

We’re always happy to promote fellowship and solidarity among our hard-working postal carriers. We gave $600 to the National Letter Carriers Conference & Picnic, $700.00 to the American Postal Workers Assoc. Conference & Picnic, $400 towards the Oregon Rural Letter Carriers Convention and $225.00 to the Mail Handlers Picnic.

Supporting Our Students

Every year, we award four $1,000 Student Scholarships to future and current college students who are members of the Credit Union.

Giving Bikes to Children in Need

During December, for every vehicle purchased through Auto Solution, and financed with NWPCU, we gifted a bike to a child in need at Christmas!

Become a Volunteer
