NW Priority Credit Union Announces Appointment of Christine Torland as Chief Executive Officer
The Board of Directors is pleased to announce that Christine Torland has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of NW Priority Credit Union, effective May 1, 2026. Christine served as Interim CEO beginning in December 2025, following Julie Guerin’s departure.
Christine’s journey with the credit union began in October 1995, when she started in the back office. She later joined the Accounting Department, where her talent and dedication led to positions of increasing responsibility. In September 2020, Christine was promoted to Chief Financial Officer. In that role, she demonstrated strong leadership, sound judgment, and an unwavering commitment to the credit union.
Throughout her career, Christine has embodied the cooperative spirit and “People Helping People” philosophy that define credit unions. She is known for the kindness and compassion she brings to every member interaction. Christine takes the time to listen, understand, and assist each member with a gentleness that leaves a lasting impression. Her dedication to exceptional service reflects the values at the heart of NW Priority Credit Union.
